Hello 2019!

This year is going to be so amazing!

This is a year of building and making the right friends for the journey.

For my small business, I’m starting to find out what works well and will be focusing more on that.

First task is to decide what I’ll be bringing to trade at the Scottish Trade Fair this month at the SECC.

Things I can mass produce.. .

What do you think of these wooden peg doll bathing Belles? I made them this morning.  I love all things nautical and they would look great in little boutique shops..

And a new craft was born

Everyone is unique with their own little quirks, it’s what makes us indivually special. So I thought why not celebrate our differences and create little people for people to give as gifts!
Family portraits, wedding gifts, baby gifts or for that special person..
Join me on this creative journey…
Much love ‚̧ԳŹ

It will keep you amused and me too!  I hope you enjoy my whimsical collection and please be patient with me as I build my brand.

All mini paintings will be for sale in my ETSY shop and I’m happy to take commissions on request

The Ideal Home Show 2018, Glasgow

The Ideal Home Show in Glasgow has now passed and was a big success!

It was my first Ideal Home Show, but not the first time I’ve had a fair stand at the SECC – always a great venue.

Over the 4 days, I displayed my large oversized artworks and some smaller pieces.

I set up a painting station too on the stall where I happily splashed away on the canvas , much to the amusement of a lot of children.  I asked them to help me with ideas for the paintings.

Always learning and growing and working out the best ways of doing things; What did I learn from this event?¬†¬† I don’t¬†think I will continue the larger artworks to the extent I have as they don’t sell as easily as my smaller pieces.¬† Also, I will need a bigger car!

I love painting¬†the small box paintings – I believe in making affordable art and they’re so handy for transporting and make fabulous little gifts to give.

I also have a new -found love of my na√Įve art, whimsical art style.¬† I wasn’t too sure how this would go down, but had very good feedback. I love creating little characters in Scottish inspired scenes.

Its all learning and reshaping…

Watch my website this month as I start my 100 painting challenge!

Here are a few of my new paintings and I hope you enjoy the scenes I am building over the next year.
